This wine is made from some of the oldest vines in the Priorat, specifically from three plots called El Grinyó, Molins and Mas del Caldera just outside Bellmunt de Priorat where the vines are 70-110 years old. The wine spends 12 months in new and second year French oak barrels and 7 months in the bottle prior to release. Clear expression of the true Priorat terroir, full of mineral notes and big, juicy fruit.
