Despite an increase two vintages ago this Reserva from Castillo de Perelada is still excellent value for money. Josep Lluis Perez of Mas Martinet has been advising this cellar for a number of years, and their red wines have really come along in recent years. The wine was aged in new 50% French and 50% American oak barrels for 18 months and is a well balanced, rounded wine.
