When Jean Leon bought this estate in inland Penedès he wanted to produce reds to rival Bordeaux, and whites to rival Burgundy. This Cabernet based blend has nice ripe plummy fruit, good acidity, firm tannins and considerable elegance. Aged for two years in oak and three in the bottle prior to release it is already drinking well, but should evolve nicely for some time.
