Gran Claustro is the top of the range red from Castillo de Perelada and is only made in the best vintages. It is aged in new French oak for 18 months and develops beautifully in the bottle. It is a big opulent wine, with great complexity (mineral and balsamic hints, herbs etc). Given a couple of years stored properly, it will gain in elegance. Proof that Empordà can make spectacular wines.
