| Brescat is a new project in the Conca de Barberà region. The name is taken from the Catalan for the planks of wood that cover the top of old underground vats. Traditionally the grapes would be placed on the brescats and pressed, with the juice running between the planks into the tank below. The wine is an interesting first vintage with crisp fruit aromas and rounded tannins.
