| This is my all-time favourite cava. It has a texture and complexity that for me, put it miles ahead of anything else I've tasted. The base wine for this cava is made from Chardnnay and Pinot Noir, and is fermented in French oak barrels which accounts for the rich texture.
Albet i Noya made it as a millennium special, but it was so good that they've continued to make it. By the way, the bottle is a very attractive, slightly curvy non-standard bottle. Like all of Albet i Noya’s wines it is certified organic.
