3 Negres is the first wine produced by Celler Puig Romeu in la Llacuna. La Llacuna is a village on the very inland edge of the Penedès wine region, where the distance from the sea, and the altitude give it a considerable day/night temperature change in the summer - just what you want for nice even ripening.
Good fresh fruits (on the red fruit end of the spectrum) with good acidity and relatively firm tannins that should round out with a little bottle time.
