One of the largest family owned wineries until 2005, this was definitely a very popular producer of wines run exclusively within the family. Today, Fosters owns this particular group as well. Their top product remains the Chardonnay-Sémillon known simply as Pinot Riesling. The wines are exported all over the world, with consumers even in North America and Europe. Compared to the other companies on this list here, this is a relatively new one, having been founded only in the year 1969. Today, it is a revered win producer in the South Australia region.

This is another esteemed winery from Australia, having been found in the early twentieth century. Currently, it is one of the biggest privately held wine producers in Australia. Their top product is the white wine that goes by the name of Noble One. This is a sweet white wine, which has its high number of patrons. People that have tried this wine out are extremely satisfied with it, often wanting to have it again at a later period of time. The company has three diverse wineries, one each in the Riviera region, the Hunter Valley region and Dixon's creek. The first two wineries are in the New South Wales region whereas the last one is in Victoria. Yalumba

This is the oldest wine that is still produced in Australia. It is located in the Barossa Valley area in Angaston, South Australia. The Yalumba wine was created by an Englishman that had immigrated out of England to Australia with his family more than 150 years ago. Today, it is one of the top wines and has a distinct taste of its own. It is an extremely successful firm as well, having high turnover rates and is essentially one of the top of the region, essentially becoming the envy of many winemakers around the world.
